I've been feeling so at peace with my life. Summer school started but I feel amazing. I'm at the point where I'm very happy with my relationships with those around me, and I'm so glad that I have a lot more free time to stay at home to not only hang out with my parents, but also for Ai Nhu time. The more that I'm at home, the more I feel at peace. I have been reading (surprise!) up about physics and Catholicism, talking to my dad about politics in Vietnam, watching movies with my mother, sewing (finally fixed the machine!) and planting flowers. For someone who's all about spontaneity and adventure, I've been a lot more happy with the mundane and simple stuff. I guess this is a part of maturity. I'm turning into a boring adult....NOT! :D

Lil' Rebel
Doesn't Kelly look like a boss? Hehe...this was one of the most exciting shoot that I've done at Kelly's place. Kelly got some new stuff and wanted me to put together some outfits for her, so we coordinated pieces from her closet along with her new purchases. Kasey, Kelly's sister, also contributed by doing her hair and makeup. It was such a fun collaboration for all of us and I hope to style and shoot more of the Diep sisters. I apologize for the inconsistency of the editing. These photos were actually taken on the same day as Kelly's birthday post photos, so my photography skills are still ultra n00b and it was super dark outside. However, this shoot actually helped me learn more about Light Room, one of the programs that I'm currently using to edit. The original pictures were disgusting orange because I didn't know the power of white balance during March, but while editing, I learnt how to manipulate different shades. Still have a long way to go, but it's exciting!

One year old rockstar!
I'm officially done with school! Praise the Lord, this semester has been one of the toughest times of my life. I did 18 credit hours, had a job, was doing Freshmen projects for physics, and was working on VASA by Night. It didn't help it that my classes were all continuations of materials from the fall, so it was extremely difficult. I'm thankful to finish and still be alive. I'm also very grateful for the friends, fun times, and memories I had with everyone.
Til next time,
