Good-bye Baby

I feel like I have been so busy this summer yet at the same time I feel like I haven't accomplished anything. Weekdays are filled with classes, work, and (intense) studying. My free weekends, which are rare, are to catch up with folks and mostly studying. Last week, I went to another camping trip with my youth group in Wisconsin. It had to be one of the best joint camp (named Ket Than) with Dong Hanh and Nguon Song. It was very refreshing to see how energetic our kids were. They had so much spirit in the activities and they were all extremely positive and friendly with one another and it made me realize that I would never be the same person if it weren't for my youth group. They really gave me my optimistic outlook and motivate me with their faith.

I guess that, in a way, this outfit kind of describes how I have been feeling these past weeks (despite shooting this outfit in the beginning of July ^^). Although school is seriously eating my life, I have been feeling extremely happy with everything. The boldness in color and the playfulness in the polka dots (my current obsession) perfectly displays the giddiness of seeing old friends, eating new food, and meeting different people. Although my summer is almost coming to an end, I'm excited for all of the things to come my way: leadership training in Kansas, ending of summer school (2 more weeks baby!), catching up with more friends, school supplies shopping, and VASA planning! I guess I have been loving my life more after surviving yet another week of 2 exams in a row.
Good bye July! <3

Hot Summer

Happy Independence Day America!

I had such a wonderful weekend with my family and friends. It was a nice vacation although school is starting again tomorrow. I'm excited for this fresh opportunity to do even better. Although school has been a roller coaster since I've started college, I am determined to make it my best session. Positive energy is coming back to me!

I did this shoot this weekend with Kelly and we both had a blast playing in her yard. Despite this being a simple look, we thought it would be fun to play with the "American Gangster" for the fourth of July theme. Using the props in her lawn, we messed around and opted for the desperate housewife meets miss 60s bad girl to complete the American Gangster look. Enjoy~!
